Gerald Thompson, better known as Evangelist Gerry Thompson is an International Minister of Music, Songwriter, Producer, TV host and an Inspirational Artiste. He is well known throughout the world, especially in the Reggae and Caribbean communities; North American Markets (Canada, US), and European Markets. 

Evangelist Thompson is a multi-talented individual with a powerful true-life testimony of how God turned his life around.  He is the Founder, CEO, and President of Vision of Truth Outreach Ministries. Vision of Truth Outreach Ministries is a ministry where a nobody becomes a somebody, because he believes man’s reject is God’s project and who God hire, let no man fire!” 

Evangelist Thompson migrated to Canada from Jamaica at the age of ten. He went through a period of culture shock trying to adjust to the Canadian way of life and his new family.  

Since accepting the Lord as his personal Saviour, Evangelist Thompson has a new outlook on life.  He made a covenant that he would help others like himself - regardless of their race, color, or religion - who are coming from a life of sin and shame. As a result, he has reached millions around the world on television with his testimony and message of hope and how God changed his life.  Along his journey, he has never forgotten individuals he left behind in his past life. He will continue to try to assist them by helping them make positive changes that will empower their lives. 

Evangelist Thompson makes it a priority to alert his public audience to the important needs of our young people. His countless voluntary work has included; motivational speaking at schools, community events, and one-on-one mentoring with young people in trouble.  

Evangelist Thompson has has received many citations, endorsements and awards from United Achievers, Reggae Music Award, The School Board of Education, John Brooks Community Foundation, Roots Cultural Foundation, and The Black Coalition Committee.  Many lives have been transformed through his Ministry while working with Prime Ministers, Presidents, Governmental Officials and other Community Leaders in their schools, special needs communities, and churches. 

Evangelist Thompson does not claim to have apprehended fame, but is always reaching out to individuals in the trenches.  He has given up many opportunities to be rich and famous; but chose instead to be called a Servant of God, which is the greatest honor to be used to touch and change lives. 

Evangelist Thompson has produced 12 CD’s consisting of over 200 songs, and over 300 TV broadcasting shows.  His inspirational musical repertoire includes Country & Western, Reggae, Soca, Calypso and Soul. His music is available on Itunes, deezer and spotify. 

Evangelist Thompson has appeared in the movie “John Q”  starring Denzil Washington which was filmed in Canada. Evangelist Thompson was part of the choir in the movie  singing the song "Yes, Jesus Loves Me".  He has appeared on the Dr, Bobby Jones, BET Network.  He is associated with the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), and has shared the stage with Men of God such as Morris Cerullo, Reinhard Bonnke, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Benny Hinn and Arch Bishop Gilbert Deya and many others.  He has also been invited to the Queen of Parliament (London, UK); and invited 2 consecutive years to the White House in Washington DC, USA as a special guest artist to sing his original songs "It's Amazing What God Can Do and Try On" at the Prayer to the Nations with Pastor Terry Lee. He has also worked with The Bob Marley Foundation where he had a special invitation to spend time and pray for Bob Marley's mother(Booker Marley) and The Red Cross in the schools and communities in Jamaica. 

Evangelist Thompson is a TV Host of his program “Vision of Truth TV” which has been aired on The God Channel in Iceland, Wonderful Channel in the UK, Inspirational Network in the UK, The Now Network in the US, Reggae Sun TV in Jamaica, Flow TV in Jamaica, Vision TV in Canada, OBE TV in the UK, and many others around the world. Viison of Truth Outreach Ministries is currently being aired on Faith World  TV on Tuesday 11:30am on Sky Channel 588 in 80 countries.
